Tips Shot No.1

Hi guys I have decided to make a new series of videos and posts giving some quick and easy advice and tips for CityVille.
The information I have sourced is not all my own and the respective authors deserve all credit.

Complete goals to level up quickly

This is one thing that is overlooked by the average CityVille user.  The goals that the game has built into it isn't just there for "bragging rights" once you have completed them.  In fact, they are there to help you level up quickly since they grant you experience points once you have completed any of the goals.  The better the goal that you complete is the higher and more experience points you will be rewarded with.

Construct houses to keep your population up

You can't make your city become a giant town if you don't have the population to do so, so this is one thing that you should be very careful about.  A lot of people forget to make their houses and community buildings, but it is one of the most important things in the game.  Without the people and population you can't expect to keep on growing, there won't be enough manpower for all of your businesses, factories, and franchises.

Landmarks are here!

Take a look at these astonishing new buildings available NOW in CityVille. I know what i'm going to be saving up for now XD
The selection includes Big Ben and the Empire State Building, with plans of more releases in the near future.

Farming in CityVille, and why you should be doing it !

Farm, Farm, and Farm some more!

I cant tell you how many new players don't do this. Farming in CityVille is definately not as important as it is in FarmVille. BUT it is still a huge mechanic of the game. Farming should be your main source of goods, and without goods you cannot supply your different shops, businesses and franchises.
This means that you should be farming whenever you are online.
Ask yourself the question "How many times have I ran out of goods and had to stop playing CityVille?"
I bet its more than 5 times if you are a regular player.

In my opinion, you should have strawberries growing at all times if you are a very active (4 hours a day) player. They don't give you a massive amount of goods but they sure do help. They only take a short time to grow too, so you can usually harvest 3 or 4 lots of strawberries in an average CityVille session.

My number one tip for farming however, is too gauge when you will next be online and plant seeds that take approximately that long to mature. My personal favourite long term plant is definately cranberries. The money and goods that they give / the time taken to mature, is unmatched by any other plant on CityVille.

I hope that this tip has helped you.

Take a look at this CityVille players farm. You just know they are never going to run out of goods with that amount of plots at their disposal.

ADD FREINDS

Dont be a loner, get some friends... Heres how

In Cityville, it is absolutely key that you get neighbors. Zynga has setup this game in such a way that you CANNOT build a thriving city without having a lot of neighbors. Each time you visit a new neighbor you get +3 Energy, and you can earn goods and coins by helping out your neighbors. The more neighbors you have, the more people will visit your own city, and will harvest your crops and do things for you without you having to use your own energy. But the best thing about having lots of Cityville neighbors is that they will gift you items such as Energy, permits, decorations and a whole lot more.
So how do you get neighbors? Well, many people invite their friends that don’t play Cityville, which is a waste of time. Instead just do a search for “Cityville” on Facebook and open up all the Cityville-related fan pages. “Like” all of them. On each post on a Cityville fan page, you’ll see tons of comments from people saying things like “add me” and “add me plz”. Send a friend request to all these people with a note just saying “want to add u on Cityville” or something like that. Once they accept, send them a neighbor request in Cityville (go to the My Neighbours tab). You should also post a comment saying “add me” on every Cityville fan page, so people will friend request you.
